Immediately after completion of the May Day Radio album in early 2010 I set about approaching my favourite producers in the hope they would do a remix for me.
The brief was simple, choose a track off the album and do whatever you want with it.
The response was pretty overwhelming and humbling.
The quality of the production and effort that went into these remixes is
I had no money to pay these people, they did it as a love job.
Why then you ask has it taken so long for this album to be released?
Various hurdles mostly to do with money and time combined to prevent me from giving this album the release it deserves.
100% of the profits from this release will go to the remixers themselves.
So please show them some love.
Big thanks and big love to my sisters and brothers who took the time to remix my work. It's a very humbling experience to have peers re-interpret your work.
For an artist like me it’s an incredibly rewarding thing to have other
producers flip your music on its head and make it their own.
Special thanks go to Thesis, Semper Fi, Monk Fly, Disjunction Reunion, Gentleforce, Sofie Loizou, Gravious, Bec Paton & Georgia White (for the amazing artwork),Chris Hancock (for the stellar mastering job) & Kristy Brown (for her tireless efforts promoting my work over the years)
